Sitaram Yechury has been elected General Secretary of CPIM for the third time in a row. With this, Yechury has taken over the reins of the party for the third time in a row. Yechury, 69, has been in the post of General Secretary of CPIM since 2015. Prior to that, Prakash Karat was the general secretary of the party. Prakash Karat held the post of General Secretary from 2005 to 2015.
सीताराम येचुरी को लगातार तीसरी बार CPIM का महासचिव चुना गया है. इसके साथ ही येचुरी ने लगातार तीसरी बार पार्टी की कमान संभाल ली है. 69 साल के येचुरी 2015 से CPIM के महासचिव के पद पर हैं. उससे पहले प्रकाश करात पार्टी के महासचिव थे. प्रकाश करात ने 2005 से 2015 तक महासचिव पद की जिम्मेदारी संभाली थी.
